How old do you have to be to play live poker tournaments?
My 18th birthday is coming up on April 30, and I was wondering if me being 18 would allow me to go out to find some poker pubs and try to win some cash. I always play online poker (about 3 hours a day on average) and have been playing for fun since the age of 12. I consider myself to be an average skilled poker player and would love to test those skills in a live tournament. I also live in canada, seeing that the US legal age is different.

Can anyone please tell me some more advanced online poker tips?
Im 14 and i taught myself how to play poker at the age of 10 and i guess im pretty good. I would like to know more advanced online poker techniques like bluffing signs and position playing, i currently play on the texas holdem facebook app as obviously i cant play with real money so it is no going to be the same experience but oh well :) i would love to be a pro poker player and earn my income that way, im good at maths and have took business studies at school which i am going to carry on in college next year. Im going to get a job to earn money and when im 18 create an online poker account and play with small amounts of money until i get use to the differnce, i will play with small buy ins for around 1-2 years and if i earn a good amount of money then i will take the thaught in of making my earning through online poker. I worked out the average UK wage per year is roughly £20,000 kinda, so if i make £60 a day that it £420 a week and £21,840 a year so all i have to do is make around £60 a day every day to become a pro player. Because a pro poker player is defined as a poker player who earns their money through playing the game and no job. When i get more knownledge in poker i will play higher buy in games and hopefully make more money. I would love to achieve this as i love playing poker and would be amazing to be my own boss and be responsible for my own winnings or losses and you do no know how much you can win from £100 to £100,000 and more
